Here is the PDF of the travel story I shot for the Shang Travel Magazine last January. You can view more of those photos below in the blog.
About two weeks ago, my Vertical Communism series was featured in a very respected New York Times Lens Blog. I had a great conversation with Matthew McCann about China and Chongqing and a pleasant article about the situation with urbanisation in China. You can see the portfolio and article here:

and some print screen of the post below:
One of my vertical communism photos from a Carabean themed water pool park in Chongqing has been published in today’s edition of Le Monde illustrating an article on strong consumption in China.
This december, dutch architect Willemien van Duijn published a wonderful book about abandoned cities around the world. I was more than happy to participate to it with one of my shot the new giant housing complex being build in Ordos / Kambashi. If you are in Holland, please check this book, the other photos are quite incredible as well. You can have some preview on the NRC ( Dutch newspaper ) photo section here:
and more snapshot of the book taken with my phone here:
In this week end edition of Le Monde, two portraits of young french residing in Shanghai talking about their vision of France.
The Neue Burcher Beitung ( NZZ ) is the oldest newspaper in Europe. Their design has barelly changed since the 18 century. I was very proud that a photo of my Chongqing Collection Vertical Communism made it on the front page.
Last week end, the geo-political supplement of Le Monde featured my current series ” Vertical Communism” about Chongqing. Together with a text from Francois Bougon, the portfolio has been both in print and web here in the following link:
Once again, I had the pleasure of portraying Han Han for le Monde. As one of his book and blog post are released in french, the journalist did a culture cover story on him. I met him at his former apartment now office in Songjiang district. When asked about why he lives so far from the city center, he answers that he does not really need to be in the center and that he hates traffic jams and night noises. The truth is that he is also the center of attention and his apartment is always filled with friends, journalists and other interesting people always debating about some possible future projects.
